AGENCIES IN THE U.S.
KidPower
A community based non-profit organization founded in California in 1989. They teach self protection (including boundary setting and full-force self-defense), self confidence, and violence prevention skills through workshops with adults, teenagers, and children. They have over 20 centers in eight countries and have published a manual for parents and teachers on how to teach self protection and confidence skills to young people.

National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information
A national resource for professionals and others seeking information on child abuse and neglect and child welfare. Includes major sections on prevention, statistics, and resources. Useful information can be gleaned from studies and reports by a number of researchers, including David Finkelhor, Diana Russell, and Mary Koss. (To obtain information specific to incestuous sexual abuse, look for the SEARCH box and type in INCEST.)
International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect
